Meditation more than just relaxation

We all know meditation is an excellent form of relaxation, but it can do so much more than just helping you relax. Meditation is an excellent way to connect with your spirit guides, develop your psychic abilities, talk to ghosts, or passed loved ones, to connect with your Higher Self, view your Akashic Record, explore your past lives, to heal your life traumas, to clean the energy in your chakras and aura, to protect you from harm, toxic people, bad life events, and the list goes on.

Meditation is the foundation to all things spiritual and is the key to connecting with your soul, which is your true self. To understand how meditation can help you connect to all these things, you need to understand you are a soul that is having a human experience. You are so much more than the story of who you are right now. You have a much larger story about who you really are, where you come from, and why you are here in this life, which is sitting inside your soul right now. You have a soul, which has a name, it comes from a location it calls home, and meditation is what helps you get all those answers.

How can meditation help you connect to all this information? Aren’t you supposed to sit quietly, clear your mind, and focus on your breathing? Yes, that is a form of meditation, but that style of meditation, although it is excellent for relaxation, is not going to get you to the answers that are within your soul. To find the information about who you are, your past lives, your spirit guides, and all that, you need to use Spiritual Meditation.

Spiritual Meditation

Spiritual meditation is where you are using meditation to connect into the spirit world. This gives you access to information about you that you can’t find anywhere else. Spiritual meditation is using your active thinking, or “imagination,” to focus on images as you meditate. For example, if you think of a park, with green grass, trees all around that have birds singing in them, the sky is blue with white fluffy clouds floating by, the breeze is ever so slight, and the day is just perfect; can you imagine all of that in your mind? If you can, then that is how you use active thinking as you meditate.

This style of meditation takes some time to develop, mostly because of your belief system. When you focus on a scene in your mind, such as the park we just talked about, you think, “I just made all that up.” Yes, in a way you did, but did you? If you think about the park, you just made up, did it have more than just green grass, blue skies, with trees in it? If you think about it, did it have anything else in that scene? If it did, how did that stuff get there, if it wasn’t told to you to think about it?

When it comes to spiritual meditation you are not “making up” anything. You are thinking of a location, or in a way creating it. This location you are thinking of becomes your focal point during the entire meditation. You use this scene to help you connect to all the things that were mentioned earlier. But how can thinking of something in your mind be real? That is because nothing we think of is fake or made up. Every thought or idea comes from something. It could be something from a life you already lived, or an idea your spirit guides gave you to help you out. All the thing humans “create” come from somewhere. All ideas, stories, inventions, creations of any kind come from somewhere. This will make you wonder where H.R. Giger gets all his ideas!

Spirit Guides

Spiritual meditation can be used to connect with your spirit guides. Think about that park you “imagined” a moment ago. If you meditate often and get comfortable thinking of yourself being in that park, you can ask your spirit guides to come to you in that same park. Once they are there you can meet them, talk to them, and basically communicate with them quite often in meditation. This removes this mystery of who your spirit guides are and helps you to work with the beings who help you every single day.

Psychic Abilities

As you “imagine” this park scene during your meditation, you can focus on hearing the birds singing in the trees, which will develop your clairaudient ability. You can focus on all the images you are seeing, such as the trees, the blue sky, the clouds, flowers, or anything else that is in this park, which helps to develop your clairvoyance ability. You can focus on touching the grass, feeling the flowers, or the breeze and temperature that is in the air. This develops your clairsentient ability.

All psychic abilities are based on your psychic clairs:

Clairvoyance means clear seeing.
Clairaudience means clear hearing.
Clairsentience means clear feeling.
Clairalience means clear smelling.
Clairgustance means clear tasting.
Claircognizance means clear knowing.

Talk to Ghosts and Passed Loved Ones

There are so many paranormal investigators in the world right now trying to capture evidence of ghosts, but you can also learn how to talk to these beings, which helps you gather more information about them. When you think of that park scene, you are learning how to connect to the spiritual world. The more you develop this skill, the more you will be able to use that same skill to talk to ghosts. When you meditate, you are essentially going into the spirit world, which is where ghosts are. Once you learn how to trust your meditations, whenever you are near a ghost, such as being on an investigation, you can take a moment to meditate and go into the spirit world. From there you can talk to the ghost, ask them why they are there, and help them move on.

The same is said for passed loved ones. It is beyond painful to lose someone you care about, but it will help to know they are not gone. There is life after this one, because if there wasn’t, we wouldn’t have ghosts, or past lives. But the people you love are not far from you, they are just on the other side, in the spirit world. You can go to them and talk to them in your meditations. It is not the same as having them with you in life, but at least you can still talk to them.

Your Higher Self

Your Higher Self is you on a soul level. The Higher Self is the whole part of you, and your soul, that is inside your body right now, is only a piece of your Higher Self. Your Higher Self knows everything about you, who you are, why you have the life struggles you have, where your soul calls home, what your life lessons are, what karma you need to heal, and where you are trying to go at the end of your life journey. Talking to your Higher Self opens you up to a world of information about you that you will not find anywhere else, and you connect with this being in meditation.

Akashic Records

The Akashic Record is a spiritual book all about you and your souls path. It is stored inside a spiritual library that is maintained by angels and other types of spirit beings. These beings write down everything you do in your life right down to the minute detail. If you are someone who helps people, they write that down in your book. If you are not very nice to people, they write that down as well. This book tracks your karma and life lessons.

You have access to this book when you learn how to use spiritual meditation to go into that dimension. Everyone’s Akashic Record looks different. Some people see their book as brown with leather binding, and parchment paper pages, to a gold book made from a metal type of material, and everything else you can think of. The writing is often written in angelic script and the color of the writing is different for everyone. For me, the writing in my Akashic Record is iridescent colors. You can view your book as well, but not by going to a library on earth. The only way to get to your Akashic Record is to use spiritual meditation.

Past Lives

You have lived before, and people do live more than one life. We do not die and hang out on a cloud for all eternity. We are souls and once we leave these human vessels we become a spirit, which is our soul. Remember, our soul is a piece of our Higher Self. Once your body dies, you leave the physical and go back into the spiritual, or energetic. Once your spirit crosses over to the other side, that is when it begins the life review, which is where you get to watch everything you did in your life all at once.

Once your life review is over, that is when you must figure out what to do next. Every soul’s journey is different, such as when some people leave the physical world and their soul has to rest for a while because their physical life was filled with so much trauma. Some have to learn more about where they went wrong in their life, where they went right, some souls become spirit guides to someone, some go home, so they all do different things based on lessons and karma. Eventually, though, your soul does live another life, maybe on earth, or maybe somewhere else.

Life is the souls way of learning. Think of life as a school, which would make earth one giant school for souls. Your soul came to earth to live a life so it could learn lessons. These lessons are everything you have ever gone through in your entire life, from car accidents, illnesses, romances, jobs, and so on. I am not talking about math and science here, but compassion, hate, love, anger, and the choices you have made. The choices you make affect your soul’s karma. If you choose compassion over anger, you earn good karma, like getting a good credit score. If you choose anger, you get bad karma, like a bad credit score.

This is so much more complex than good and bad, because there are many reasons why someone gets angry. It depends on what caused the anger and how you dealt with it. If you are mad because someone stole your belongings, that is not considered bad karma. What you need to wonder more about is why someone stole your belongings in the first place! That is a karmic lesson in itself. But if you got angry at a baby and screamed at it, that is not good anger and will definitely be a bad karmic score against you. These are all choices and lessons your soul is going through in the school of life.

You can use meditation to explore your past lives, to heal these karmic problems just by observing your past lives. Meditation is the bridge that gets you into your past lives, which is really tapping deep within your soul and having it remember what happened during those time periods. Exploring past lives can help you remove old karmic patterns that are no longer helping you but are now hurting you. Heal Life Trauma

Trauma happens to many people in numerous forms every single day. We have childhood trauma, trauma from war, robberies, attempted murder, rape, abuse, bullying, and this list could go on. Trauma is negative energy, and it sits inside your energy system, which is your soul, chakras, meridian lines, and aura. That trauma shapes who you are today, but if you did not let it go and heal from it, it could have shaped the things you are struggling with as well.

Trauma causes energetic blocks in your energy system, which creates problems in your life. If you are struggling with something right now, such as physical pain, that pain is caused by a block in your energy system. That block has been there for so long it is creating physical pain. If you have anger issues, that is a block in your energy system causing an emotional reaction. The same can be said for the things you struggle with in your life, such as not having enough money, being homeless, not feeling safe in your home, chronic illnesses, addictions, sleep problems, mood disorders, psychological disorders, and more.

Your energy needs to flow freely for you to be healthy, so if you are struggling with anything in your life, this is your energy system telling you there is a block that needs to be healed. This is where meditation comes in, because you can focus on that park scene and work on removing that trauma from your energy while you are there. Removing that trauma from your energy system helps your energy to flow the way it is meant to, which is what makes you healthy, happy, and living a good life.

Protection

One of the main reasons why so many people have so much negativity in their energy system, which causes your life’s ailments, is because no one teaches you how to protect your energy. You learn to lock your doors at night so no one walks in. You lock your car doors to keep it from being stolen. You have insurance for yourself, your home, your car, just in case something happens. Yet, no one teaches you how to protect your energy, so you don’t pick up spirit attachments, or attract toxic people into your life, or to protect you from danger.

Remember, life on earth is a giant school where you learn lessons and repair your karma. The things you struggle with come to you because you have karma, or negative energy, playing in the background of your soul attracting these things to you. Once you learn how to protect yourself, you are basically locking the doors and getting insurance on your soul and energy system.

Think of it as getting insurance for your soul and learning how to lock the door so bad energy, toxic people, or negative spirit beings don’t latch onto you.

Start Meditating

This is just a short list of all the things you can use meditation for to help you fix, heal, and balance the energy in your life. Learning how to use meditation to help you heal is life altering. Removing the negativity that is causing all the problems in your life can change your life for the better. Meditation is the tool you use to help you achieve these goals. Meditation can be used to work with your spirit guides, so you can talk to them and ask them for help or advice. Meditation can help you explore your past lives, which is a great way to heal some of the struggles you face in this life. You can use meditation to talk to ghosts or passed loved ones, including pets. Meditation is the bridge into the spirit world, which is the only way to get there while you are still alive. Everyone can use meditation to do all these things, you just need to learn how.

The best way to start this practice is to do it! You are not going to get better at meditating if you don’t practice.
